How does the adaptive testing work?

Our engine uses Computer Adaptive Testing (CAT) powered by a 2-parameter Item Response Theory (IRT) model. After each response, it re-estimates the candidate's ability and selects the most informative next question — converging on an accurate trait score in 10–25 items instead of 50+.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Postgres row-level security scopes every query to your organization, TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest, audit logging on sensitive actions, and role-based access across 5 permission levels. SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 are in progress.

Can candidates view their own results?

Optionally. With Candidate Feedback Mode enabled, candidates receive a personalized, growth-oriented report. You decide which assessments include it.

What psychometric models do you use?

Big Five (OCEAN) — the most validated personality framework in I/O psychology — combined with IRT 2PL scoring, validity checks (consistency, social desirability, straight-lining, response time), and norm benchmarks.
